8. Create a System Restore Point before
making any changes to MS OS version and Check
Advance Recovery Methods
8. Perform Disk Cleanup, Analyze
Hard-Drive,
Check Hard-Drive(s) for errors & Integrity
9. Perform/Run System File Checker -
Vista
or Windows 7 commands or Win XP

10. Perform Windows Update - Check Virus
Protection & Update if Any, also if Windows Defender is installed
and updated.
11. If Malware is suspected run Windows Security Scan for Malware
(MSERT)
12. Other Tasks that May need to be
